Like all great things, Instar Robots began as a side project on a day off. It began as an experiment to see whether I could manufacture an articulated figure with my budget FDM printer.

Several months later, the family has grown to three figure designs. Parts are modular and free to be swapped between designs as all ports and connections are the same size -5mm.
